| That time has come! Richard Schneider will be taking the helm of Southeast Alabama Mountainbikers this Saturday, January 21, 2023 as President. I want to thank all of the members and Board members for helping make my time as President so fulfilling. We have created a unique space for bikers and hikers to connect with mother nature. And have FUN! Jesse Hess has been instrumental in creating our website, social media accounts, and any other electronic needs. Stacie Schneider has been our Treasurer for 3+ years. Richard has been on the Board for 3+ years as well. Kenny Long,The Trail Boss, has been essential in keeping the trails up and rolling smooth. Kim and Robin Meeker have been great friends and SAM supporters. I also want to THANK Scott & Eryn Demoss for all they do for the club. They recently donated a $600 trailer to carry tools for trail repairs and a chainsaw blade sharpener as well. Thanks to past members and Board members of SAM. I am retiring from work in June. I plan to travel a good bit but will be in the area and stay active with SAM too! Please welcome Richard Schneider as the new President of Southeast Alabama Mountainbikers.
